Lean spike on throttle tip in VR6 Turbo
« on: August 28, 2019, 05:00:31 am »
Hello and bare with me, I've got a link attached at the bottom to drop box

Im wondering if I should be concerned about a lean spike while applying full throttle (occurs between 60-80% throttle,
target lambda is 0.9 but actual is 1.35

I'm not overly familiar with accel enrichment but what I do know is fuel film is zero'd out.
I have found notes on here for tp/dt. Is this the same as dTPS/dMAP enrich?
currently set at
dTPS   enrich%
12       1%
22       18%
40       28%
60       38%

thank you, I had a look at the enrichment adjustments you made. I'll give that a try.

Could you please elaborate/pass on tips with your concerns on the config!

Are you from USA?
ignition map is flat and way to much advance in low rpm. Also way to low advance in high rpm.

Typical for that area is that maping(like carborator). If you look your ignition table, there is no need rpm axis.

You need to go to dyno and make go remap. That engine can hande 2.7bar of boost on holset hx52 + 100nitrous shoot on 100% stock engine when is good mapped. Now you are missing around 150hp at 7500rpm because bad ign table. Also you have more than 50% more stress on engine in middle rpm.

Also fuel cat at 8900rpm isn't a good idea.
