Misfire detection in 1.1.44 and later
« on: March 01, 2009, 07:29:15 am »
Seems to work!  If rdiff0 to 7 are plotted out in excel then the rdiff trace corresponding to the coil that has been disabled becomes different to the rest...  Well done on getting a very useful but tricky feature to work!

I just need to work out why the TVR decides that 6 is a good number from time to time now. ;)

I find missfire detection is showing a missfire at idle on my engine, even though I know that it is not missfiring :-\

Mine too, but it's not intended to detect misfire at idle with very wild cams, since they tend to idle all over the place.

Turn on 4 of the rdiff[n] gauges on MT and rev the engine.  The gauges should all point at zero if there's no misfire - these are all logged so you can see if you get high rev misfires after the fact and which cylinder is responsible.
