It´s not available yet.
When it will be is not 100% certain either.

If available, how much?

can you use either low impedance or high impedance injectors with the VEMS pnp for the m50? plan on running some 780cc injectors from precision but there low impedance, if not i can use resistors to make them work.

It will not handle low impedence unless the vems itself can do so.

My reccomendation is that if you are going to use those injectors and need to wire in resistors you would just be better off using a
plain vems unit for your project as you´ll be cutting up the stock harness anyway and you can save yourself some money while doing so.

What are you asking? "how hard to wire" is related to how experienced and knowledgeable you are. It probably takes me an evening, but that doesn't tell you much.

Start with the schematics for the  harness : http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm
Then use Rob's guide to figure out where to put all the wires. http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FPhatBob%2FUserGuide

Read Rob's guide again, and again.. and again. Until you understand what you need. Most of the MegaTune methods to calibrate sensors can be discarded, this includes any terminal commands. It's all done through VemsTune these days.

Gunni,

I didn't see m20 on your list. maybe I missed it. When is your release date for this?

As a second thought did you leave the wiring intact for the AFM in case someone wanted to use a airmass meter?

I don´t plan on ever making a M20 one as it doesn´t really update the system enough, you still need a variable TPS, sequential injection and so on.

I´m just about to make the order for connectors, so mid year this should be ready for sale.

I don´t see a reason to use a MAF or AFM with VEMS, it´s just lowering the ecu´s ability to measure accurately and to any level.

where can one source the ecu side plug to make a pnp 88pin motronic conector harness?

or do you take them out of old factory ecu.

I found a supplier that is able to sort me out.

These will all be new plugs.
