hello all,

Would anyone be able to test my ECU in the UK, its been sat around for 3 years, doing nothing, while i rebuilt my v8 engine, and now its playing silly buggers, and seems to have some sort of electrical gremlins.

Was fine when i took the engine out........

I've been trouble shooting my ECU for over 2 days now, and info is hard to find, if at all.....first fuel pump problems, as the ECU wouldnt not turn it on.....now both lambdas acting stupid......sensors test out ok, and so does the wiring, again was fine 3 years ago.....so dont see whats changed.

If theres no-one in the UK, then i suppose it must be back to base?, how do i start this process?

Anyone able to help?

cheers

scott

Sorry nobody hasn't answered you yet mate. For me is clear, therefore what you need is to buy an immo off ecu and make a swap. It would be better than trying to fix yours. Once those little shits fail it's the end, so you have to get a new one. Basically, you have 3 places where to find a new one:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=immo+off+ecu&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=immo+off+ecu&_osacat=0

https://www.cartechelectronics.com

https://www.ecumotorstock.com/en/12-ecu-store

Never bought in any of these shops, except eBay, so use Paypal, just in case.

Good luck mate!

Best bet is to sent it to Hungary for retest/repair. Available at https://shop.vems.hu/catalog/repair-upgrade-p-103.html
