« on: July 25, 2008, 07:30:59 am »
Previous vems gauges what I have ordered did not came with any extra settings label but last few had with them somekind of label with hand written settings. Do i need change thes settings at megatune?
Label:
Vems round ID: 1712
Display color: RED/RED
Case color: BLACK
EGT offset: 0x40
EGT calibration value: 0x9E
Pump pw zero: 0x63

What should these settings look line at megatune?
I'm using the vems round wiht stock audi 2,2 20VT ECU.

So they've changed stuff without giving a proper explaination...

You can use your Windows calculator to convert the hex values to the decimal that is displayed in MegaTune

EGT offset: 0x40 is 64
EGT calibration value: 0x9E is 158
Pump pw zero: 0x63 is 99

So in MegaTune you should see Settings->EGT Input where you can enter the EGT Calibration and EGT Offset values.
Under Advanced->Wideband settings you'll see the Pump zero pw value, I'd be suprised if you had to change that TBH, just make sure that the value provided is the same as the value in there is the same as the value provided.
