CA18DET RPM Settings in Megatune
« on: May 02, 2008, 11:18:29 am »
Anyone know what the RPM input settings should be for a CA18DET in Megatune used with VEMS WBO2 sensor?

I used to have it working fine, but forgotten what settings i used now!

IIRC you used the standard settings (what ever they were!)

You might like to try: http://www.vems.us/eaw-52_firmware.php

Cheers - yeah i was being a muppet and i changed the baud rate to 9600 instead of the 19200 it defaults to. Works fine now :)

regarding this firmware. If it's working fine with my setup is there any benefits from upgrading? The only gripe i have currently is that on occasion the rev readings shoot up and there ends up a few spikes in the curve. no biggie though...

If you're happy with what you have then theres no real point in upgrading - I'm not sure if the spikes in the datalogs bit has been cured or not.
