Might have been lost in the database shenanigans.  Would you care to email me directly?

Can you send me too?
Somewhere I found a command and data element reference, but i have not found now..

Okay, I have found the D command structure now!
(making a custom lcd with arduino microcontroller board)
Has anybody idea about using SIPR protocol instead of Megatune? I have made some serial logging but Vemstune using megatune D with the new firmwares too...

I can't commit to anything but I have some C++ and C# code that provides a data model for the MegaTune protocol

Hy!

I can't find the wiring diagram for the larger LCD.Is the same as the small one?
Can somebody help me ?

(Sorry for my enlglish)

any ideas?  ???

johny.

It most likely is. I got mine from the crystalfonz site, and the LCD has 18 pins but only 16 are used and they're identical to the small one - I just swapped the wires over.

Installed:

Nice! I have the same LCD

but it's not obvious for me becouse the small lcd have 32 pinout and the big one have only 18.
Can you give me the wiring diagram for it?
Like this In phatbob user guide:
                  * LCD-J1 to LCD-J16
                  * LCD-J1 to LCD-J3 (2,4K ohm resistor)
                  * LCD-J2 to LCD-J15 (27 ohm resistor)

               To connect the LCD to VEMS (suggested wire colour)

                  * LCD-J1 to DSUB9-pin5 (brown)
                  * LCD-J2 to DSUB9-pin1 (red)
                  * LCD-J4 to DSUB9-pin9 (white)
                  * LCD-J5 to DSUB9-pin6 (orange)
                  * LCD-J6 to DSUB9-pin2 (violet)
                  * LCD-J11 to DSUB9-pin3 (green)
                  * LCD-J12 to DSUB9-pin7 (grey)
                  * LCD-J13 to DSUB9-pin4 (blue)
                  * LCD-J14 to DSUB9-pin8 (black)

Just if it's not a problem for you.

Thank you very much for your help.

32 really?? My small LCD only had 16. The pinout was exactly the same as the LCD guide. The large LCD was the same except the last 2 pins do nothing. Here's the manual, see pages 11 and 12:

Yes it has 32 pinouts 16 at the top and 16 at the buttom of it. I dont know exactly but outputs can be the same but in two rows becouse the lack of space. I realy dont know.
Thank you for the link! Now i know what to do.

Cheers
Johny

If I remember correctly, the pins at the top are the exact same as the pins at the bottom therefore, in reality, there are only 16 pins. I just used the Wiki diagrams, and the Crystal Fontz datasheet. Pretty much like for like.
