5bar boost sensor configuration
« on: May 29, 2017, 06:52:42 pm »
Going to switch my internal 4bar sensor to an external 5 bar.
Thinking to de-solder the stock sensor and bring the wires out to a plug  on the ECU case.

Can someone confirm that the stock sensor is 5v supply and 0.5-4.5V output?
What would be the proper configuration in VEMS for this new sensor?

This look good?:
MAP Sensor Range=510
MAP Range Unit= normal(<510kPa Sensor)   ..... or should it be Double(>510kPa Sensor)?
Table kPa Unit=2(>250kPa)  .... or should it be 4(>510kPA)?

Turns out the factory sensor has an output range of 0.2-4.7V
I want to use the AEM-30-2130-75 5bar sensor, which has an output range of 0.5-4.5V.

In Vems we can set up the slope and offset to get the right "line" but no parameters that would allow scaling.
Has anybody done this? curious how you would set up VEMS to work with this sensor.
