advanced filter on 60-2 flywheel
« on: December 14, 2016, 06:24:43 pm »
Hi!

How can I activate advanced filter on 60-2 flywheel, 4 cylinder config? Change its parameters has no effect.
I have problem with cold start (-10`C and below).
Vems has detected miss-tooth on slow cranking when "Primary Diff Ratio"= 1.50 and some more, but it's not miss-tooth.

it seems that your starter motor is damaged or something.. or engine has soo big compression?

Compression ratio, something about 11...11.5. Starter motor is ok, but it old style starter, it has no reductor.
Temperature of engine at startup is -18'C.
Battery is new, but it little freezes too...
The filter would help to solve these problems, but it seems that it does not work on 60-2.
I would like to know if I'm right. Trying to set up a filter is meaningless? It is absolutely excluded from 60-2 configuration in the firmware?

it should work I believe but that wont help you if you are getting such high rpm amplitude in cranking

I understand that a missing tool is detected because of the too high difference  of the time periods between 2 successive prim trig events.
So I think this is related to the Error Management which is done by the fw. As said somewhere else, this management could be better documented and offer user parametrization.
You would ask for a fw update or get a more powerful starter, change the motor oil or warm the bottom of the engine
