Pr Cylinder ign retard

Hi all

I need some help here as i simply Cant understand how this is setup

I need to retard cyl 2 /4 on my subaru

Her is pictures of my setting







And here is what i have just tested to what Channel and cyl





What do i halve to retard to retard cyl 2 and cyl 4 ?

Also what cyl is in the knock cyl under the Numbers in the top ?

If the cylinder numbers in your ignition outputs visual table are assigned properly, than the last two rows are cyl 2/4 -> the last 2 rows in cyl spark delay table are also cyl 2/4 (just forget about the number in front in spark delay table). Knock columns gauge top number should represent real cylinder number (if again setup properly in ignition output tables visual).

In the hand written papir i have tested what coil fires ,
And the top is cyl 2 , next cyl 4

But i Think i have figured it out now , i have Rotated so it now shows , cyl 2 in the top , to the left of were it shows what stepper out that is used

So it is now suposed to show the Real cyl in knock , and if i retard cyl 2 and 4 it the two top rows in the retard picture


Does this sound right ?

When using your paper as reference, your selected firing order is correct, just needs to be rotated by 2 so the first line in ignition outputs visual has 2 in front of it.
If that is what you have done than yes, your assumption is correct.

Remember the VEMS can be wired up and configured in many ways, without telling it which cylinder belongs to which row (selected output) in ignition outputs table the system does not know.
