I am interested how to do it by myself, because I have one dbw box unused, i just need to prepare ecu for that and I want to do it by myself ;) yes, this is OC0 14 atmega pin, so I just need to connect something like injector bridge driver from here? http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/IXDN404SI/IXDN404SI-ND/463718

and then http://s10.postimg.org/hglxak4dl/DSC_1074.jpg ?
can you give me some detailed instructions?

But be careful, that pin can't handle more than 5V, and can't source/sink more than 20mA.

That chip isn't good for DBW, i builded my own H bridge with 15A mosfets.

ok, vems box with dbw which I have is made: That chip pin 4 pwm signal, then 5 pin----> resistor---->box with mosfets, pin 7 ----->resistor---->box with mosfets. pin 5 and 2 connected together with wire. so that ixd chip works only like small amp switch, thinking with who I can replace it :)

you can use SN754410 and two N mosfets and two P mosfets(i use irf540 and irf9540)

ok, now we have drive by wire, that's good, controlled from 6-7 injector channel, that's bad if you want to start v8 engine with that. so, is there any possibility with newer firmwares to use any other output for that? thanks. I'm starting mercedes amg v8 soon, so I'm intrested how to use injector channels, make it 2 injectors on channel or wait some time :)

Yes, you can use pwm for injectors. So no problem for v8.

but if  we try to make it sequential, then it's not enough outputs :)
You have 8 injectors drivers + injector pwm driver. So, yes you can make v8 sequential and have DBW.
as I remember I can't get DBW and low z injectors on pwm at one time?

Resurrecting this topic.

I would like to implement DBW in my '67 911 (to get rid of the long cable to the back of the engine) and I am using E46 M3 throttle pedal and ITB actuator. All the sensors are correct. But I would rather not have separate box just for DBW, would like to put the H-bridge in the VEMS box.

Problem is I have no idea what and where to connect, would anybody make a small schematic for it?

Thanks!

You can thake pwm signal form 8 resistors before injectors drivers.

Hello Peep,

Why try to reinvent the wheel? Just order a bridgedriver from the webshop, take it apart and mount it in the same case :)

Best regards, Dave
