1.1.95 - No menu options for wheelspeed
« on: October 11, 2011, 10:03:51 am »
As I can see here on WikI http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=IssueReports :
Quote
1.1.95 - No menu options for wheelspeed running latest nightly VT 7-12. Checked Firmware Parameters and it lists a 1 for PS2. I then downloaded both 'wheelspeed' & 'ps2' firmware to vems and neither of them showed a 0 for ps2.

It means there is no chance to show menu in VT and use WheelSpeed input with that FW ???? Thanks.

If you are using the 2011-07-12 version of VemsTune, it's strongly encouraged to update to the newest released which is 2011-09-07.

It's not under Base Setup -> Speed Sensor?

Yes maybe, I'll check it once more today....

Edit: my fault, PS2 version was there, re-uploaded with wheel-speed version and Speed menu is visible already. Thanks.

Hi, I tried speed input (ABS signal through LM1815 circuit) and I can see some strange behaviour: car was on my garage and both wheels were lifted (only for test); when there was some roadspeed (tps was already 0), idle rpm was around 1600 (normal idle is around 1050), ign wasn't changing (i have ign regulation for idle enabled) and idle DC was also too high - it seems there was idle regulation disabled when roadspeed was > 0 (see the graph). If speed was falling down to zero, then normal idle regulation (idle dc + ign) was enabled again after aprox. 1s. Any ideas ?? Thanks.

Not whole IAC disabled, but just Integral particle. You can enable it under Idle settings. If you tune IAC so that I part is always negative at target rpm it gives nice rpm settle down when car stops. Just like OEM.
