Noob here. '71 Pantera/Audi ABZ build. Mids UK
« on: August 05, 2011, 05:42:07 pm »
Hey guys.
Found this site after reading Hilly's Esprit conversion with a similar setup to my proposed.

I already run a GTM coupe converted to Toyota 4a-ge on Megasquirt with EDIS and a JAW wideband. I find it all a bit of a Faff. The JAW especially is log.

So basically i'm at the point of deciding whether to get another MS and an Innovate wideband (or similar) or go Vems?

I know you guys will be biased, but what are your thoughts?

Don't waste your money!, Buy a Vems V3 and a Vems Round. Job done! :)

after the price of ms and a wideband, your at the price of a vems that has wideband and so many more features..

ms is a joke. i have taken out 5 ms systems now and replaced with vems
boost addict's Vems powered Audi VRT s2

I've done many installs of both.
Personally I love VEMS much more than MS. Mainly because of very reasonable feature set (hardware and software)and very good tuneability: it takes significant less time to get finalized result with no following complaints from customers. Last point sometimes turns in to nightmare in MS case.

Hmmm, All the above very much what I was thinking. MS gets on my moobs.

I've got my engine now - Audi 4.2 v8 40v with CoP and a load of other sensors that I haven't found yet. Think i'll give VEMS a try on this one and maybe convert the GTM later too.

Cheers guys.

I made that engine to vems. Imho it's impossible to make that engine to MS to works 100%. 8cylinder, 8 ign coils, varibable cams, variable intake mainfold ....
