Question about pinout 3.6
« on: June 17, 2010, 12:27:22 pm »
I'm looking at this pinout http://195.159.109.134/vemsuk/forum/index.php/topic,1266.0.html for 3.6 board and would like someone to confirm ground at pin 17 of ec18 connector. At bottom side of the board there's clearly visible connection between pin17 and fet next to wbo2 heater fet.

Depending on when your board was built, it may not be ground. That is a recent decision as far as I know (to make it easier to wire up rs232 on the EC18). Surely go with what is actually wired on your board versus documentation though.

If you have an assembled ecu - use an ohm meter to check for connection between EC18-17 and EC36-26.
