cam sensor

hello all,

when i built my vems for my rover 4.6 i fitted the front cam sensor from the LR (GEMS) efi.

Although cam sync disabled in my settings....how can i check the reading/pulses if any the sensor is making???

its fully wired up, just not turned on.

bare in mind i have very limited knowledge at this stage....and also limited equipment.

Not sure if this might work as the cam sprocket it works off, has odd solts for pulsing....

If you stop getting spark when you enable cam sync, then you have a problem.

With the most recent firmware and VemsTune you are able to make a triggerlog which includes the cam sync pulse. (Not for public use yet)

not in any rush to get this working.....just another nag in the back of my mind....

not anywhere near learned 10% of this vems yet.

always knew it was there....and i might be able to use it...

good to know these things are in the pipeline for the future...

well i tried the settings and enabled "cam sync"

engine turned fine...but wont fire....so its back to disabled....

a job for much later when i know what it all means
