vems wideband gauge displaying --- or HOA ?

hi i have a vems wideband on my r32 gtr skyline.

when i start the car the gauge just reads --- in the display.

after being run for a few mins ive noticed the gauge displays HOA ?

is hoa a code for a fault maybe ?

as far i know its in heating mode for few sec to heat up wideband probe.

I remember that my gauge showed --- when the lambda sensor was not connected.
