Once the tables are burnt to flash they dont go anywhere, its common to forget to burn to flash when messing with tables.

This isn´t really my case.
I tuned the complete ECU and then burnt it and also saved the right setting on PC.
The other morning (couple of days after tuning) I started the engine but it didn´t split the injectors as was set before. So I loaded the right setting from PC.
On Tuesday this week I started the engine and then out of the blue the spark degree was completely changed and fuel was very lean.. After while the car didn´t work at all. I loaded the tuned setting again and no problem then. I went to circuit where I started and stopped the engine several times and the ECU was always using the correct setting.
The problem really is when the car is not used for more than a day or longer..
Anyone has experienced this problem?
Thank you
Matyas

i have a different issue.

i am trying on vemstune 1.1.62 to put all the values, constants, settings on a default vemsconfig so that i can save it in the end,but whenever i try to change several of the values to those that i have on my 1.1.27 version(manually) once i close the window, it doesnt keep it to the value i specify. During this process it doesnt allow me to save each individual window of settings. i dont have the laptop connected to the ECU as i still run the 1.1.27 version, i just want to make my vemsconfig and save it before i do anything to the ECU.

does anyone know how i can actually save the settings i want in a vemsconfig?

Have you gotten the latest vemstune?

I´ve been able to create a complete cfg from scratch

I had a similar problem with 1.0.79. It turned out that the dual table switching was causing the problem. The analog input chip failed and the switch input was rapidly floating between 0 and 5v. VEMS did not know what was what. You could load up the PC and burn settings and it would be fine, soon as you turned off the ECU it dropped those settings. That took me some working out :-\

yes i just realised that i in order for the values to be saved i have to press ENTER after each change rather than TAB.

Maybe I discovered the cause. Pin 3 in serial port (inside) was defective. Sometimes touching the other pins. After the repair wasn´t a problem 2 weeks... :)
