Possible noisy 5V
« on: August 21, 2015, 07:51:31 am »
I think that i have a problem with my 5V.... both MAP and TPS is jumping, i would like to "log" my 5V source, using a analog input... wich analog input would be easy to use

Thanks Mads

Are you using bluetooth? if so is it powered from the aux 5v?

I say this because today we experienced a significant 5v fluctuation causing both TPS and MAP to flutter. We know it was the bluetooth as we went back to wired serial and the fluctuation stopped.

The VEMS bluetooth adapter seems to be introducing noise onto the 5v.................... We are going to try and external 5v supply an see if that fixes it, but the wiring then becomes unnecessarily messy.

I'm using a  hc06 type bluetooth module and it's connected to vems 5V it should not use more then 30mA.... shouldn't be a problem
