IAC problems after upgrade to 1.2.11
« on: January 09, 2014, 11:08:14 am »
I upgraded from 1.1.96 to 1.2.11 to fix a RPM fluctuation issue (which now seems fixed) but immediately got an IAC issue: The IAC starts out OK (though appears to have slower movements than on 1.1.96, but this is not a major issue). However, often after running for a few minutes, the IAC when on will appear to want to idle at ~2 times the set RPM (880) and it often "latches" on, i.e. once on, doesn't turn off until ECU power down irrespective of TPS value.
It's worth noting that IAC worked flawlessly with 1.1.96.
I have tried playing with the PID settings a little but to no avail.
The log (with cfg) at http://www.vems.hu/files/PatrickB/IACProblem/ shows the high idle but not the "latching". I can record another log with this if necessary.

Try raising the overrun fuelcut _resume_ rpm..  to what have you set it?
It seems IAC control (valve and ignition) does nothing above fuelcut rpm, which I have a problem with too..
