VEMS LCD Display issues
« on: November 09, 2011, 10:43:18 am »
High i have an issue with the display. When i make a run at full throttle it distorts the displayed values and shifts everything 1-2 places to the left. After some time 3-5 minutes it comes back to normal.

When on cruise I almost never have issues with it.

Is there a way to make it stop and maybe make the display refresh faster?

If you have PS/2 firmware, try speed sensor f/w instead.

LCD can be tempremental at the best of times.

Things to try.

Ground the shield on the cable or DSUB body (sensor ground)
Fit a choke to the LCD cable.
Increasethe cable delays in Vemstune

Use better spark plug cable or use shielded cable for lcd.
