I have gathered this information so far:
1. Power supply H+ nominal: 7.5V (
LSU 4.2 - 9V)
2. System supply voltage: 10.8V..16.5V
3. Heater power steady state: 7.5W (LSU4.2 - 10W)
4. Heater control frequency: > or equal to 100hz
(LSU4.2 - >2hz)
5. Nominal resistance of Nernst cell: 300 ohms (
LSU4.2 - 80ohms)
6. Max current load for nernst cell 250 pA (LSU4.2 - 10(DC)/250(AC) pA)
7. EGT operating and max. temp range are same for both sensors
8. Hexagon temp: < 600C (LSU4.2 = <570C)
9. According to
http://wbo2.com/cable/lsuconns.htm and Bosch tech. docs , both sensors share the same wire color assignments (though connector physical dimensions and pinout numbering differs)
10. Signal output: IP meas/ Ua (AWS),the same for LSU4.2
11. Accuracy at Lambda 0.9: - 0.80 +/- 0.01 (the same for LSU4.2)
12. Accuracy at Lambda 1: 1.016 +/- 0.007 (the same for LSU4.2)
13. Accuracy at Lambda 1.7: 1.7 +/- 0.05 (the same for LSU4.2)
According wiki, this is the wiring diagram for LSU4.2:
This LSU 4.9 sensor has green (Cal R) wire in the connector (there is no such wire in LSU 4.2 connector). What should I do with it?
I don't want to trial test sensor wired to VEMS before I have no info regarding config changes of WB settings in vemstune.
Bump for a help!
