Trying to improve cold idle.
« on: June 24, 2009, 11:42:17 pm »
Hi, newb here.

I have a 2.0 N/A engine on ITB's and VEMS.

The car runs well, i just want to sort the cold oidle out a bit but dont know what to fiddle with.

Basically you can start the car from both bone cold, and baking hot, without any throttle at all.

However when first starting up from cold its very lumpy (this is fine, as it has some mental cams in it), but after about 20 seconds it will just cut out.

It doesnt struggle and cut out, it just cuts straight away. Am i right in thinking, the "afterstart" settings are good, then as soon as it come off of "afterstart" the warm up enrichment isnt enough to keep it going?

Any advice welcomed :)

Post your screenshots of warmup, cranking and related and we can take a stap at it.
