Ford Scorpio 2.0 dohc
« on: March 02, 2009, 09:06:19 pm »
Originally with
EECIV ecu,
36-1 vr trigger wheel,
NA map sensor with frequency output
High impedance CLT, IAT sensors,
High-Z injectors,
2 wire pwm IAC,
Narrow band EGO sensor,
Distributor and coil with amplifier box

This is just a test rig for knock experience.

Plan:
VEMS genboard 3 with onboard map with V3 harnesses
Marelli CLT,IAT sensors with 3050,256 patch
1.1.43 16x14 alt_knock firmware from Andrey
knock sensing with VEMS and real time spectrum analyzer with pc microphone input

First Attemp:

36-1 vr trigger is usable. The tdc after trigger is 90 degree like Ford Edis.
(First we try with reverse polarity but after the right polarity we get rpm signal at cranking)
VEMS onboard map sensor against o.e. Hose from the plenum, from the original place.
Marelli IAT sensor against o.e. Put with m14x1.5 thread in the plenum.
No CLT sensor. 4.7k potentiometer used. Manually adjusted to 75-80 Celsius.
Injectors are usable. Approx. 160-200 ccm.
No IAC, idle adjust manually to 900 rpm.
Wide band EGO sensor in original place.
Coil and distributor drive by IGBT. Coil primary resistance approx 0.8 ohm.
Knock sensor on the side of the block with R-C signal conditioner into mic input.
Using spectrum analyser program to detect knocking.
Firmware 1.1.27 12x12
VE table from Megatune table generator
Spark from www.powerpage.dk Ignition Timing Configurator xsl
Lamba 1.00 from 0 to 50 kPa, richer above.
