Were to get oe ecu plugs?
« on: November 24, 2007, 07:19:48 pm »
Hi All,

I´m going to make a adaptor to make a Impreza plugin ,as it seems that Rob is gone dead in the project  ;)

so were can i get the ecu plugs so i can make a adaptor harness.

I allready got one for the early model, as i hacked up a legacy ej22 ecu, that i got ,that is the same 4plug ecu as the legacy turbo, and early wrx( i think)

But i need a hole bunch of them , so i can start installing them in danish impreza´s, instead of the Link ecu i use now(with really bad idle control)

Or rob are you allready done?. ;)

Rob's not doing this one - I am.   But I'm not going to get time to test & build more until Christmas now.

Rob is dead on the project???

I have a load of Subaru plugs on order from my supplier, but the lead time on the order is TEN WEEKS!
Good job that I ordered a batch load 8 weeks ago then ;D although now that you've been so rude about me you'll not be allowed to have any;)

There are a bunch of people going to be workin on this project, dnb, GintsK, me and yourself.

 ;D

Great Rob,

Is it the 4plug or 3plug version , you have on order ?

I will go ahead soon to make a adaptor for the 4plug version to a legacy turbo , but the only part that´s different from the impreza is a waterpump drive for the chargecooler

4 plug version.  The 3 plug one fits the Toyota 3S-GTE engines but they had an MOQ of 160units, and I can't afford to tie-up money in more connectors, I have such a large pile of Nissan ones already  ::)

I can easy understand that you are not going to buy 160 impreza set..

Why don´t you just sell some Vems ECu for the nissan buys then :)

Are we sure that the vems can run the strange oe trigger from the Subaru?

Believe it or not I am trying to sell VEMS to the Nissan people, why dont you sell some ;)

The Subaru trigger works with the new firmware, there are engines running with it ;D

I will give it a go on the Nissan forums here in Dk,
But i think that there is under 15 of the 200sx here in Denmark, so not much potentiel,

That is probbely around the same as there are Impreza´s, but there i have already sold and mapped 6pcs linkecu´s!.

I would really like the trigger setting for the Impreza!, and what firmware is being used?
