A Vems Powered Car in PPC magazine ?
« on: July 09, 2007, 01:53:53 pm »
So sat on the train to the Orafice this morning flicking through July issue of PPC.

I stumble adross a Readers Projects that looks suprising similar to Cliff's.

Now as its actually mentions Vems in the article ( brownie points for that one  ;D ;D )

Well done and congratulations on how far you have got on what look like a sizable project  8) 8) 8).

Thanks  :)

It is indeed a sizeable project - much bigger than anticipated (aren't they all)

I thought the write-up was really good. Conveyed a sense of enthusiasm, and also plugged the right people which was nice  :)

Much more to come over the next few months. car was dropped at Fabricage today for the cage to be fitted, and then will be off to the paint shop, so keep watching.

Yup done weeks of week on project planning for the day job, but as much as I try with the 'Toy' there is always the things you find that needs improving along the way.

Excelent write up ( though Have met some of the PPC staff and they are all petrol heads first Journo's second ) Its the only magazine I subscribe to.

one of the v8 guys on my forum put a post up about PPC doing a DIY efi article,
so i sent them my details along with instal pics and vids,
and they wrote back saying Vems? didnt i mean mems :(
i e-mailed back and said no VEM's Versitile Engine Management System
the reply i then got back from them was sweet FA.
