How can injector DC be over 100%?
« on: July 09, 2010, 05:47:58 pm »
Did some VE tuning today and discovered thad injectors DC is at some point almost 130%, but the lambda is correct (bit richer even then the target lambda is).
So how can it be over 100% and what does it mean then?

You should get same lambda with 100% (your real physical DC). 130% is calculated from your commanded pulse widths and current rpms. In other words your VE table is 30% higher than necessary. And you are run out injector or fuel pump capabilities (100% is too much anyway).

Yes, 100% is way too much already, but I just wanted to know why the hell and how can it be over 100% :D

It´s just calculations.

After 100% any more %´s are errors of course.
