Peugeot 106(NFX)
« on: February 13, 2010, 01:15:26 am »
Hello to everyone and thank you for welcoming to this forum  ;D . I hope that I can hep you as well as you can help me . My name is James , I am from Australia and I am the owner of JPSmotorsport located in Athens , Greece . Searching through the internet I found VEMS ECU's and I am now trying to become VEMS dealer in Athens .
I am now preparing a Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.6lt 16V (NFX) . I have installed forged pistons and Rods with standard dimensions but with comp. ratio 12.0 : 1 , I have done port polishing and also installed Piper Cams on it . I am now preparing the wiring loom to install the VEMS GenBoard . Does anyone have or know where to find the wiring loom blueprints / outputs ? The specific car is now using the Sagem ECU .
If you also please take a look at my website www.jpsmotorsport.gr and tell me your opinion .
(I hope I haven't posted in the wrong division)

You might be best off talking to Dave or Pieter at DP Engineering http://www.dp-engineering.nl/
They do plug and play Peugeot systems, I'm pretty sure that you could have some potential business interests that match.

Ok ,I'll send them an e-mail . Thank you very much . may I ask an other question ? When I order from the web shop of VEMS as loom connectors should I choose the Econoseal18-harness and Econoseal36-harness or should I also order some other harness connector ?

That totally depends on if you need any other connectors.

As I have said earlier , this Pug 106 is using the Sagem ECU with 3 plug-ins . I was considering to change it to the motronic 55 and use the Plug&Play Vems ECU . But does it came with an LSD connection ?

Well it´s more expensive for one.
And it´s not exactly a problem hacking the motronic connector off and using the wires into new Vems connectors.

Don´t go with the PnP one it´s more Audi , unless you get the one from DP .

Get one from DP, they have an 3 Plug NFX version, too.
So you don't have to modify the loom.

http://www.dp-engineering.nl/EN/products/electronics/standalone/vems_pnp/

Its has allready an base map on it and all sensors configured.
More expensive of course but less problems...  ;)

Contact me if you want to buy there, I can get some discounts  :D
