Wideband and VEMSTUNE problem
« on: December 06, 2009, 07:42:02 pm »
I thought I'd have a bash using Vemstune instead of megatune for a change, but have had a problem.  Vemstune wont detect my gauge on com 4.  It is a USB to serial convertor but it works fine with megatune.  Is there something i'm missing?  I've checked and all the connection settings seem to be the same for both Vems and Megatune but still no joy  :-\

Very strange... Does your USB->Serial have LEDs on them to see if there is any communication at all?

Unfortunately it doesn't.  It's just a cheap ebay jobbie and I know the vast majority of problems stem from driver problems but I just find it wierd how it works with one and not the other  ???  I'm assmuming it should just be a case of installing the software and away you go?
