Hello!

-freeze corr for openloop
-minkpa (it"s ok, I understand)
-reactivation delay

Can somebody explain this variables, and rule of thumb values?

And one new thing the Iac to load at Idle menu but I don't know from which version

MWfire

freeze corr for openloop
When you are in closedloop and egocerrection is let say +10 and rpm max for correction is set to 5000rpm.
When you pass 5000rpm egocorrection will stay +10 no math regardless on lambda. When this is disabled, then ego correction is 0 in openloop.
Reactivation delay, when you give throttle ecu goes in open loop and this delay is time(rpm exactly) before ecu come back in closed loop.

Thanks the very fast reply!

And what would be the Iac to load at Idle menu?

iac to load is only for alpha-n

Yes, And?

I run Alpha N and just upgraded to 1.1.44 where this variable is pressent without explanation :-\

    * When rpm < hybrid_rpm_m the iac.position is added to load before table-lookup (for all tables: VE, ign, lambda). Basically proportional to the iac/throttle ratio. Formula: iac.position * config.iac2load /256 / 8 is added to load, that is max 31 if iac.position=FF and iac2load=FF. iac2load=FF is throttle/8 size (area) iac, that would be extremely big. Probably iac2load=06 or similar values could be more realistic (iac 341 times smaller area than throttle). Because of the throttle shape (special at low-TPS) you might need some experiment and logging to tune it

:D Gobble de gook ;D I'll have to get my brain in gear and work through that. My brain is in another place at the moment so I will get back to this, soon!! :)

Is it also related to acceleration enrichment?

----

About IAC to load - I tried this feature on real BMW M5 engine. Influence is about two times smaler than expected. I was't able to reach situation when IACV opening did't change AFR to lean side when opening. (big 3-pin BOSCH valve).

Same situation with IAC MAT slope: 3%@70degC helps a lot, but it is not enough. It would be nice to double the effect.

When acceleration enrichment is actived ecu goes to open loop.
In new version of firemware IAC MAT slope is 13% max(not realase yet).

I did't try yet freezing feature on already tuned engine. During tuning it act like obstacle.
