Carbed toyota 4age 16v with vems as ign. only?

I've got a toyota 4age 16v running twin DHLA carbs and some hyperpak ignition computer. But I think it died, or the distributer died or the coil died or anyhting in between.

Anyway, i was wondering if I could take a wasted spark coilpack from any other car (have got ford zetec coil pack somewhere) and use the vems to run the ignition instead.
But what sensors does the VEMS require to run the ignition in this setup?
VR or Hall cranck sensor for sure, but anything more? And how to setup the VEMS then?

Anyone know where the VR or hall sensor is located on the 4age, or does it take it from the distributor?

It's just to get the bloody thing going again. The VEMS is actually needed for my zetec in my other project.

Thanks in advance

oh, and it's in here:

Hi,
You'll need an engine load sensor, probably best to fit a TPS onto the webers. You can get them with the correct bracket, bolts straight on :)
Jenvey and Omex do them, maybe Webcon too?

You'll need a 36-1 crank trigger, and I have a good set-up for most 4A-GEs.
As Bat says a TPS is needed for AlphaN this one is available through VEMS.

Or the above sensor from a Volvo, probibly a bit cheaper from either the scrapyard or a Volvo breakers/ Ebay ;)

Just for the info, many Opels are using the exact same TPS and they are very cheap from scrapyards, like 3-4 euros a piece.
