VEMSTune + Windows 8 - Popup/dialog boxes empty

Wondering if others have this issue as well, but on my Win 8.1 laptop the notification/dialog boxes that pop up from the taskbar are blank.  Have been so since trying to use VT on Win8 machines.

Anyone else experience this problem?  Will there be an update to solve this?

Running as admin and under Win7 compatibility mode doesn't make a difference for me FWIW.

Yes, I found this too, rather anoying, but, I was only trying the Windows 8 pc as that had onboard Bluetooth as I was having bluetooth disconnects with the USB adapter, so i'm happy to use an old windows XP PC. Windows 7 seems to work well.

Yes Windows 7 works just fine... Makes me think it's probably a straight forward fix that they will hopefully address.

I really only use my old laptop for old crappy tuning software like Autronic or Motec that doesn't play nicely with Win8.  For all other systems I use my main/newest laptop with Win 8.1 x64 on it.

I have three laptops that are all different makes and models, they all have windows 8 and they all have this same problem... I've been ignoring it but would like to see this fixed.

Probably yes, as I don't think VEMS added these Dialog Boxes with no reason... do they?

Of course it's important... They pop up to make you AWARE.

If the pop up boxes are difficult to manage on newer versions of windows, a simple pop-up dialog box like when you have pending share files or updates would be fine as well.

But it looks like VEMSTune development has also stalled  :-\
