Hello.I have a m20b20 engine with a charger. What can i do to make good kpa? 50 is to many(( 800rpm, 20deg on idle.If without charger, it is 46kpa.

GintsK

What is wrong with 50Kpa?  ???

Senchiro

It is not normal pressure on idle i think? normal is near 28-30kpa?

GintsK

It depends from cam. Narrow cams with zero overlap gives lowest absolute pressure. With overlap increase pressure rises. In some cases it can be in 90...100kpa range.

cam is stock )) may it be from changed  degree of compression? it was 9.4, now is 8.0

Jamo

I would say that is normal pressure

50 is perfectly normal for a stock M20. It will loose some from the lower c/r.
