Just upgraded on vemstune 16/6/11

speed sensor is missing from the base menu and i cannot disable/change it.

AVP

this is now definite and same on 2 different laptops. The vemstune version seems to not include it.

AVP

also tried it on nightly 11/7 and still the speed sensor feature is gone

programmers....come on!!!! when you release something please make sure that everything is working and not small glitches like this make you have to reupdate the firmwares again and again!

im going back to 1.1.88 in the meantime....

AVP

replied by vems developers on issue reports.

i should have used NON-PS2 on my firmware upload, as apparently PS2 makes speed sensor disappear for some reason.

i dont know why i had on my notes to use PS2 rather than non PS2... anyway

im going to upgrade to 1.1.95 as apparently the wheel speed sensor is better there.

mattias

Wheel speed uses the PS2  input hardware.

AVP

its now sorted. i upgreaded to 1.1.95 with non-ps2 and its back ok.

multiplex

is your 1.1.95 working with wheel speed?  For some reason when i upgraded with either 'wheelspeed' or 'ps2' it still says ps2 = 1 under firmware parameters and i have no wheel speed menu selection  :'(  :'(

AVP

i chose Non-PS2 and i have the wheel speed option
