Trigger error

Running a vems ecu on a mercedes v12, stock 60-2 on flywheel.
At 5000rpm the tacho suddenly goes to 25500rpm. Runs good up to that point, no trigger errors.
Perhaps config error?
To much with 6 events/engine rotation?

could it be a problem with overlapping dwell?
As stated in GintsK thread there is´nt enough room to adress the whole cycle.
Vemstune does not report trigger error but rpm´s just go trough the roof (25500)

Primary trigger settings. Crank minimal period. Try to reduce it to to ~1200us (or increase to be sure).
Statement about coil type trigger in help was false in some firmwares.
At 5000Rpms your time between triggers is exactly 2000us

Upgrade to 1.1.81 would be my first suggestion, at some point up to 1.1.81 the "crank min period" was removed and a calculated minimum is used based on the trigger settings and number of cylinders.

With 1.1.81 and most recent VemsTune the firmware can report properly exactly which kind of trigger error there is (too many/few pri trigg, bad place for secondary, etc).

At the moment you need to be sure to disable the config switching before and after a firmware upgrade. (furthest down in base setup menu)

Upgrading to 1181 did save me=) But now i get some trigger errors on crank. Battery in the trunk, 32mm cable gives me 180rpm´s
Thankfully it starts after 3-10sec.
Triggerlog confirmes problem on starter but works 100% on idle-speed, with 1.1.76 there was no trigger errors but i cant say it started easier. Perhaps mill the senor .1mm to get stronger signal? (OEM mounting, like b230ft)

Engine sounds nasty at 6500rpm =)

I would not think that it is a problem with crank sensor voltage at high RPM - if the voltage is fine at cranking speeds its only going to get stronger at higher rpm.
You're going to need to get an osciloscope to measure voltages and VR signals in my opinion.
