I have a m119 with vems but don't know who installed it and it uses the stock triggerwheel but no cam-sync is configured and the config is like this having issues to start but once it started it runs ok.

HI.
How did you do with the triggerwheel and cam-sync on the m119?
I guess it needs some external trigger wheel, unless you have some info or scope of it's crank signal

Thanks for correcting me on that. I see I made an error on my wiring diagram and put pump- on pin 8 instead of pin 7 where it belongs.

4.2 and 4.9 pins on the ECU does not change at all. The one change is a 27k pull-up is needed on the nernst to 5V. No pinout changes at all. Not sure where you're getting that information.

When upgrading to the LSU4.9 sensor when the original board was built for LSU4.2 one of the wideband wires conflicts with the wheel speed input. Can anyone point to how to connect a wheel speed sensor after upgrading to LSU4.9?

Hi, sorry I'm new to all this, Ive searched on here but cant find the answers.
I'm starting to set up a Vems v3 I was given, it was ordered for a BMW S65 with 8 igbt for coils, dual lsu4.9, no egt, crank vr, 4 hall cams and analogue multiplexer.
Question is can set it up for sequential with a 12 tooth (no missing teeth) crank wheel and single tooth cam? And which cam should i use? There is a single tooth on each cam, both close to tdc but opposite phases. Its a 1uzfe v8.
I've fitted a hall sensor for the cam and retained the vr sensor for crank. I get a nice even trigger log Showing each trigger on the crank between each cam trigger and all 8 ignition falling ignition. But where is tdc among this? How do i determine number 1 cylinder? I have a bluepoint strobe but this wont work on cranking so will try and borrow a different one. I have spark using the test function,and also if cranking with a plug out.

I will start with added ignition first.

For the injection angle I have to make myself knowlegeable about the right angle.

Yes they are bouncing "minimum to maximum" when engine is at idle and even when engine is off, there is still a bit some bouncing activity going on on some cylinder displays.

I have had a log with disconnected injectors at first the 1st cyl then 2nd and so on, but i have not found it :(
But your log a bit wierd for me especially the before cran section, why individual power boucing and not stay at -512usec...
