Hello all,
I am looking to wire a bigger cooling fan in to my vems instead of via the fan switch.
New fan is 38amps, so will definitely need a relay, but what do I wire in to the vems ecu?
Anyone got a handy diagram to help out.
cheers

use any of leftover p259 channels for that, just make sure that relay coil supply is from the same source as ecu ignition. p259 channels are giving out negative signal.
oh interesting....I only have 4 ignition outputs on my ECU board, and they are all in use.....v8 wasted spark....
But I have managed to find a spare IRF640N driver in the kit that came with my ecu…..which should do.
So its not going to be that straight forward.
cheers

yea you can use spare ignition drivers for that too ;)
anyone give me a sanity check before going ahead with any wiring.
Fan control wiring for to my VEMS ecu.

anyway job done, new bigger capacity fan wired in to ECU, complete with relay.
Works a treat, and I can now turn it on at any temperature, cool.
