Hello,
Please help 'cos I have no idea what is the problem (probably sth in configuration).
The car is Fiat Coupe 2.0 20V (5 cylinder).
I put Vems into this car during the week, but I can't set the rev limiter. Whatever I set the rev limiter (fuel cut) is always around 6500 (even I set rev limit to 3000)
Do you have any ideas (I use firmware 1.0.73) ?
Here is the msq file and log with rpm limit.
Any help / ideas will be appreciate.

You probably have the Extras->RPM Limiters set, also make sure that the ALS is off, and that the Launch control value Fuel based Launchcontrol RPM limit is set correctly.
Oh, yeah, try using a newer firmware http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MegaTune
Something like VemsMT1.0.78rc2 should be good - mind that you read the release notes.
I've upgraded the firmware but it doesn't help :( (hewever the firmware is very interresting, especcialy 3d boost map and N20 support).
The only change in engine behaviour is that the soft limiter starts to work below 6500 (in firmware 1.0.73 it doesn't work at all) but limiter from basic settings doesn't work :(
I saw a status information in log. Is there any description of bits of this status data ? I can see on log that the VEMS status is changing around 6500.
This vems is not lucky. It was delivered to me with broken P259 and bridges across the AVR pins :( And now there is a problem with RPM limit.
I have never had such issue, but I suppose that I've made some silly bug in configuration. Maybe the problem is that the car is 5 cylinder with cam sync ?
Thank you for help

Did you turn ALS?
Seems that ALS is turned off...
I've checked the config once again and I found sth suspicious:

Check megatune, extras, advanced ALS, input channel use. This must be disabled

.... and that the Launch control value Fuel based Launchcontrol RPM limit is set correctly.
Set it to either the point that you want the fuel cut - or 25500 to turn it off.
The problem was connected to Launch controll as you wrote (I didn't read it precisely :()
Thank You for help!
