Title: Scope built into software
Post by: lugnuts on December 03, 2008, 12:52:47 AM
I don't know if this has been discussed here, but Autronic SM4 (1.09 cpu) has a scope built into the software. You fill in a setting for the cam trigger in degrees, and then run a datalog. In the log graph you can see all of the trigger, ignition, and injection events. And also there is a diagonal line from bottom to top indication crankshaft degrees 0-720. It is a great tool to check the trigger inputs and to see the optputs happening in order.

Heres a screen shot. Red=Crank, Green=Cam, Blue=INJ1, Black(diagonal)=Crank position degrees.

Theres something similar to that in the V3GUI.  I've seen something similar in the DTA software too.
