Title: Noob - What's the diff between genboard v 3.3 and assembled v3.3 controller
Post by: ultrasmurf on November 22, 2008, 12:15:27 PM
First post,

As per title, I dont quite get what's the diff ? I'm cheap and 200 euro is a big jump. From the description I just need to solder some FET, IGBT and I get a working EMS ?

I'm planning to FI my KTM EXC400, anyone manage to do FI on a thumper before using VEMS ?

Regards,
Leonard

When all is counted buying everything for a unassembled vems vs. buying a assembled one is very little,
infact the time it will take you to assemble it would be better spent working for the money to pay vems to assemble it.

Hi,
True, but you'll need the PCB plugs, a case, FET clamps, etc. Also the build guide isn't exactly fantastic either!
If I were to do it again I would go ready built every time!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
