Title: subaru 36-2-2-2 trigger
Post by: Denmark on August 29, 2008, 08:41:41 AM
Hi All,

Anyone know of someone running this with the vems?,
if not , do You think itÃ,´s durable?

The crank triggerwheel is a 36-2-2-2.

I need this for a new Impreza Vems order, this it for the 2001- WRX model
Were the custumer just have paid around 1000Ã,£ to get the car Ecutek mapped, that is including the long travel, as no one in Denmark can do it.
So this is great that he now chooses a Vems to be installed, by me
this is a 2,5ltr Impreza, with forged internals,6speed ,TD06-20G turbo, so this will be a "okay" fast dailydriver.

Thanks,
Skassa

Very similar spec to the one I'm doing, apart from the trigger...

I don't see why it won't work - it should be better than the original 6 tooth thing (which I have working during cranking, but no fuel pump installed, so no running yet) because of the shorter gaps producing more signal

Yep,
I hope that the trigger setup can work,
The problem is i dont know how to make the trigger config, to make it work ???

I need the numbers to punch in, or someone who can explain in understandeble words, how to configure it ;)

I have just ordered some ecu plugs for the 2001-

Thanks,

I'm not sure that this will work with the current triggering code :(
I wouldnt know where to start with the trigger settings for that.

Hi,
I'm running a trigger with four odd spaced missing teeth, but I think the large gaps will be the problem though :(
Cheers,
Gavin

Do any of you know, if it can be run of the crankwheel alone, so i can run wastedspark ,and not use the cam sync.

And can someone please let me know how to set it up?.

As iÃ,´m going to install a Vems next weekend to a newagde Impreza, it could save me the time to change the trigger wheel, if this could work  :)
