An experimental version of the VEMS firmware and MegaTune software is available here.
It provides new triggering algorithms, changes in ALS, Launch control, IAT retard, simplified boost control, misfire detection.
Be careful of the new ignition output schema.

Rob, the wiki keeps talking about the new ignition output schema, but I can't figure it out. Yes the ignition output table is not correct when I migrated, but even when I corrected the table using terminal it was still no go for the new firmware. Reference tooth table h[1]= 1E 00 1E 00 since it's a 4 cylinder 60-2 wastespark. I spent all afternoon on this issue and it was to no avail. Can it be that hard to set it right?!
Basil
I've got it running on a 24 tooth + 1 sync cam sensor.
But remember that 1.1.xx is experimental code, the suggested release is 1.0.69:

Best to use this unless you have some unusual trigger requiements

Guess thats my car then?
yeah must be your kev... got mine reading the 24 + 1 sys fine today. plus spark :)
Has anyone done this update on a 4age engined car yet, how hard is it to get the crank triggering setup again?
Its not going to be massively problematic, I've just not done one yet so I can't give support on how to do it, yet.
If we can meet up at somepoint I can use your car as a test bed! ;)

Ok cool i may just take you up on that. Think the tank has enough range to get me up to your place.
