I installed the MSD GM coils for wastespark on my E30 327i and after some time i finally set them to work, but spark plug gets flooded on cyl3 2-3sec after engine starts...
I have spark on all 3 coils.
This is how are they wired:
EC36 Pin11 (Ign Ch. 40) - Cyl 1&6
EC36 Pin36 (Ign Ch. 30) - Cyl 5&2
EC36 Pin33 (Ign Ch. 10) - Cyl 3&4
In my mega tune it looks like this:
05...00
0 1
1 3
2 4
3 1
4 3
5 4
I`m using semi-sequential fuel injection and while i was on stock coil and distributor everything worked fine...
Since cyl 3&4 are on the same coil, cyl 4 is working absolutely fine...
I forgot to download my config and tables, since it read from 05 to 00 and in h[2] there are 7 numbers, are those last two (or first two since it read backwards) important? I`m using 1.0.73 firmware
My h[2] looks like this:
h[2] = 01 03 04 01 03 04 03 00

Check that the injector FET on 3 is not being turned on by another feature (such at Idle, Boost, Misc trigger etc.)
It might be worth using a different FET channel for 3 just to see if the FET is dead and has blown open.
Rob
You must only use "2..0" from the ignition table.
Can't really say much more other than what Rob just said, but I figure it's unlikely that you blew an injector FET between then and now - the coils are the only change right?
I switched cyl3 to diffrent fet and its all working fine, and i`m using 5..0...?!
The coils are the only change, yes i dont know when fet died...but never mind know...its all working very nice,i`m using 2.0ms dwell and the car now feels a lot smoother then with stock coil and distributor....
Did some tuning last night and i think its time to set some AE :)
Tnx guys
