I'm installing vems on a BMW 518i
Engine specs
Initial completely stock engine, in second stage-->(turbo, inj, intercooler...)
BMW M10 1755cc 8v 5speed manual gearbox
adaptor harness on the stock wireharness
single coil with distributor
keep distributor + fire coil by IGBT -->later on direct fire
stock injectors 149cc high impedance
high voltage flyback + 30v transient suppresion diode--> 4injectors fired sequential with FET
mechanical idle control valveelectrical heated with VEMS thermotimeswitch-control
bosch fuelpump controlled by VEMS
1 wideband O2 sensor
TPS
So far I have good idle and needs tuning in higher loads.
