Title: M20 Motronic 1.3 adapter + sub harnesses for injectors and other
Post by: gunni on February 11, 2008, 05:06:02 PM
Well,
I have been working on this one for a little while and itÃ,´s 95% ready now,

The adapter itself connects to a 55pin motronic connector.
While injectors, air temp (and possibly TPS, havenÃ,´t worked it out yet) connect to econoseal connectors.
And to the econoseals connect to new sub harnesses to their respective sensors and injectors.
Also the wideband uses 12v from the adapter while rest of it is a sub harness.
Internal MAP sensor.

Grounds are all through the adapter, as it has 4 grounds,
Injectors are connected individually to the VEMS.

What I havenÃ,´t done,
is 1kOhm from 12v to the tacho signal, that will be done on the adapter.

Best thing is that I was able to crimp the adapter wires to ECXX square connectors and slide them on, where they fit fairly tightly.
Then I will solder them in permanently when I have sorted the sensor grounds and various adapter splices.

When I have done a few and gotten the production time down, IÃ,´ll be offering them for sale.

Pics of it 95% done

The testing is almost done.

What I havenÃ,´t done is the TPS. as IÃ,´m waiting for mine from hungary.
donÃ,´t know itÃ,´s pinouts yet. Depending on that will see if it has to be a subloom
or use the original tps connector.

ItÃ,´s only connected to 12 wires from the connector while the rest is new wiring.
I just tested ignition and itÃ,´s spot on. Thanks to Mattias for that one.
