As of about 10am this morning a Wild Cammed, Quad Throttle, High Compression 4age came to life for a brief few seconds powered by VEMS
:D
Cheers to Bob for the tech support.
For those who find their coils are always firing out of sequence...
Read the Settings->Ignition Outputs dialog box.
Outputs are traversed in REVERSE order.
Put coil two at the top, coil one under it :D
Intuition would tell many to list coil 1 first I suspect...
More updates to come....
Sounds good!
Whats the engine spec?
From the piston up...
Wiseco pistons, 82mm 30.68mm compression height, 5.9.cc+ dome volume, 20mm x 60mm wrist pin (from specs page)
RM Sport Head with TRD valves. According to Richard it should make > 200hp with the cams in it.
11mm lift I think, cant remember duration.
I'm hella tired. OH, and ARP bolts throughout.
I have photos of the head, intake, exhaust ports, combustion chamber etc.
Didnt have long when I was at the workshop to ask about the theorys and specifications.
I was playing taxi to my brother who was building the car and had to fly back to Ireland that evening.
EDIT: WE'VE been supporting this vems install for the past 2-3 nights i a row over the phone (winces at the phone bill).
Many thanks to bob for his time and help here. And Viva Skype for VOIP calls :D
Havent hadtime to host photos and share with everyone.
When all is said and done I'll do a projects thread.
Needless to say I have some requirements for the VEMS UNIX heads who've been ignoring the GUI!!! >:( >:( >:(
I might be over at yours to help Paz through his head swap in 2 weeks ;D
I'll chat to you then :D
For now, Im off to some well earned sleep....
Nice one!
Hopefully i'll see you at mine, that would be brill.
