Title: reference tooth table error
Post by: mads b (dk) on July 22, 2015, 08:20:33 AM
What would happen if you put 0 and 54 in the reference tooth table but the correct numbers are 0 and 18

I run a 32-1 triggerwheel and wasted spark setup

Thanks Mads

Hello Mads,

If you run 32-1 without camsync (i assume you meant to say 36-1 here as you are stating the correct numbers are 0 and 18) and camsync is not enabled, than the engine would simply not run (or run on 2 cylinders only).

I advise to use Primary trigger settings visual in VT to set the tables for you, that way its less likely to have some bad tooth numbers in there (more info: http://vems.hu/vt/help/v3/v3_primary_trigger_settings_visual.html).

Best regards, Dave

Hello Mads,

If you make a sharing report with your vemscfg (or a short vemslog of engine running would be more helpful) and link it here i will review,

Best regards, Dave

Hello Mads,

Did a quick review of your config, the reftooth table definitely needs changing to 0 18 instead of 0 54. Apart from that i did not spot any obvious anomalies/show-stoppers..
