Title: Tachometer signal
Post by: Mark0 on March 25, 2015, 07:14:44 PM
Right now using AutoGauge aftermarket tachometer which works and shows current engine RPM. But in other hand, on car cluster it doesn't work.

Using P259 channel 0 divider 16
Maybe 1k ohm 1/4 watt pull up resistor would help

Old car?
Some old cluster needs more than 50V to trigger. That you can solve with

I'm using too an aftermarket tachometer on an A4 2002 and works like a charm. I can't figure out why it's not working a yours.

Aftermarket one works fine, but on cluster not. And yes, RPM signal via canbus.
