Title: fuel cut delay
Post by: fphil on August 07, 2014, 09:57:06 AM
I can feel the return of the torque when the fuel resumes from the overrun fuel cut.

Do you know if the Fuelcut Delay parameter is for smoothing that torque step? I found no hint in the VT Help.

Would not be better to have the fw which reduces the spark advance for a while ?ilippe

I thought that delay was so you could avoid fuel cut on gear changes.

It is so that if you momentarily close the throttle the ports don´t dry out and you get a stumple getting back on throttle.

Thanks, so this is not for smoothing the fuelcut return.
I should probably dig the ignition map at the (rpm, map) point of return
