My LCD keeps switching for no good reason into the map editing mode from the usual parameter display mode.
I can see no reason for this, since I don't have a keyboard connected at the moment.
Anyone care to guess why?
Its because electronics are the work of satan.......
Sorry, I mean, I have no idea :)
And TVR electronics are made by his evil twin brother... ;)
always thought Lucifer is very similar to lucas ( more than a little similar in name dont you think !!! )
certainly my dealing with my lucas hotwire system backs this up !!! but it makes yo apreciate the vems a lot more

Yeah I had this too. Must be a wiring issue I guess. Some short may happen I think.
It must be a noise problem. I have two cars with this. One, running peak-hold injectors, even show total garbage sometimes. For a some reason LCD is very sensitive.
May be we can found solution to protect LCD.
Its noise, these LCDs sit outside of the ECU, if the connections are unproperly shielded or grounded, the noise will cause issues with that peice of the circuit.
I don't have the "total garbage" problem any more, but sometimes it still enters map editing mode.
This cannot be noise on the LCD because it's displaying whatever it is told.
All it can be is noise picked up by not having a keyboard plugged in, so I intend to make something to plug in to the PS2 connector to ground the data line. This should stop the problem.
