Title: please help with camsync
Post by: perboddum on May 16, 2014, 11:11:08 PM
Can anybody help explain this setting from vemstune secondary trigger settings:

Ignore sectrig pulses above
If I input 5 then as I understand vems only looks for secondary triggers between primary tooth 0 and 5

Maximum primary edge between secondary edges
This one I need some help to understand. What does this mean if I set it to 1 ??

best regards
Per

If you would enter for example 10 there, that would mean the secondary trigger is only accepted if there are 10 or less primary pulses between two secondary pulses. This allows acceptance filtering on the length (in crank teeth) between two cam pulses.

1 Would be a bit strange setting for this variable, if cam pulses come this close after another they are most likely noise. If noise filtering is what you would like, its more suitable to use dirac filtering or reenable filtering for this.
